So excitedddddddd. This Box was delivered on 20th December 2013

 This box was delivered to me on December 20th 2013 and my review comes after a long time. but on a brighter note I actually got to try out the products and hopefully give a more accurate review.

My question to Luxe box..... where is my eight product ??? ( just being greedy)

Products:

1. ESSIE: Nail Polish in No More Film
Price : $11 / full size
Wore it with out a top coat and with my crazy job at Costco the colour chipped on in half a day, but i do like the shade on my skin tone.

2. L'OCCITANE: Shea Butter Hand Cream (made in France oooooo)
Price: $30/150 ml (full size) I got it in 10ml so this little sample is worth $2
It feels really soft and creamy, smells like baby powder ( love ittttt)



3. LOOSE BUTTON: Lip Brush
Price: $14/ Full size
I have thicker lips so this tiny brush didn't please me..... also I havent used a lip brush before so will take a while for me to get used to of it. I derive some pleasure from putting on lip colour directly from the lipstick, but I may use it for my super pigmented urban decay lip colours.

4. THEBALM: Mini Stainiac ( aloe infused gel based formula)
Price: $17/8.5ml ( full size) ; I got a 1.2ml sample which would be $2.40
I have benetint and I personally love THEBALM tint better on my lips and cheeks and lips.

5. YVES ROCHER: Sexy Pulp Lash Plumping Mascara (maxi volume and 12 hour wear)
Price: $19/ 9ml ( full size); I got this really cute tiny 2.5ml sample which would make it $5.30 worth.
I actually liked this mascara considering I have so many samples just sitting there waiting for be used and I opened this one up right away. It did last for 12 hours and gave me good volume.







6.KERASTASE: Elixir Ultime ( can be used on dry or wet hair)

Price: $54/ 125ml ( full size); I got a 3ml sample which would make this sample $1.30

This product is so useless and made my hair frizzy even though my hair is colour treated. Got2b shinny hair product line is better.

7. EVOLVh: Ultrashine Moisture Shampoo (vegan and compatible with treated hair)

Price: $24/ 250ml (full size); I got a 75ml sample which would be $7.20

I haven't used this shampoo so cant comment :( I plan on using it today.

The product card and another panty by post offer to get $25 credit.



OVERALL PRICE : $43.20 and the cost of this box is around $30 a season.
THIS IS NOT A GOOD DEAL AND I AM ANGRY.

THE SAMPLES ARE $2, $4, $5 WORTH OTHER THAN THE NAIL COLOUR WHICH I CAN BUY FROM TARGET AND PICK A COLOUR I LIKE RATHER THAN WHAT I GET GIFTED AND A LIP BRUSH WHICH I HAVE USED ONLY ONCE.
YOU KNOW WHAT I WILL CHANGE MY RATING TO 3/10 AND ONLY BECAUSE I LIKE THE MASCARA SAMPLE.

Absolutely love this bag, Thank you ipsy for sending me a purple Nyx eyeshadow and not a golden, copper, silver , black one because i have so many of those from before, Love experimenting with colours specially pinks, maroons, purples, blues, greens, yellows ETC

1) Product number one is Hydro Cool Firming Eye Gel..... I got two pairs, each pair is supposed to be used once a week. So i am covered for next two weeks :) incidentally i have a fashion show next week so YAYYY. Thanks Ipsy.

 



 

 

2) Ipsy has previously sent me Starlooks bare lip liner which i don't use simply because its so close to my skin colour, but it had a really good staying power and very soft texture. Kohl Liner is not different, seems to have good soft texture, goes on smooth. so far i just swatched it on my hand and upon rubbing and washing, the colour disappeared.

3)NYX Eye Shadow in PURPLE...... thank you Ipsy for sending me a coloured shade. absolutely love it, the texture is soft. staying power will need to be tested so wait for updates :))

4) JCAT Beauty lipstick in HONEY CRISP. a nude shade whose texture was drying on my lips. i may use it with a nars or Laura mercier lip gloss.

5)Elizabeth Molt "IT'S SO BIG" Volumizing Mascara.
wont open it, still have a ton of sample size mascaras from previous months of ipsy and Topbox to go through. (see topbox september review here)

6) EM Cosmetics The Life Palette in "Career Life" came with three eye shadows and one cheek sample.

 

 

Finally the Hand Swatches of the coloured products.

the colour you can barely see is HONEY CRISP Lipstick by Jcat
black is the obsidian starlooks kohl liner
purple is the NYX eye shadow shade called PURPLE

OVERALL, love this bag, just think purple isn't the colour in fashion, deep velvety and leather shades are in vogue, but i can totally use this shade to create smokey look and use last month's mica shade in bronze and some other black shades.
