This is all what I have for March TopBox (2014) and I must mention that this isnt a shabby sample to get. This is supposed to be 60 day supply to clear up ACNE.

The value of this box will be somewhere between $50-$80, such a vague price description is because this box comes with an order form to order more product and on their the price was listed at $50 but on Topbox wishlist it was listed as over $80.

Eight Hour Skin Protectant by Elizabeth Arden

This is in my purse and love using it during work hours on hands and lips.

Price : 30ml sample will be worth $15



 





Estee Lauder Lipgloss and Mascara duo.

The mascara is just awesome something which i can wear during day and double coat it for night time.

Lipgloss is just average, not much of colour pigmentation.

Price: lipgloss sample size is 4.5ml for $19.5

mascara is 2.8ml sample for $12.13



 



ZyDerma HS Clarifying lotion

This is my most favourite product in this box.

Price: 30 ml is $25 (wow expensive)



 



Water based luminizer by SoSusan

Didnt use much of this because i have a lot of highlighters right now but good for travel purpose.

Price: 15g for $46 ( wowwwww this is crazy expensive)  apprantly this sample is fullsize. the whole tube felt empty and i had to squeeze out really hard to get any product out.



Cost: $13.44 once a month.

 Final price calculation : $117.63 (what??? wow. i hope i didnt make any mistakes in calculating this box)

 

Final Thoughts: This box is of crazy value, I use 3 out of 4 products almost regularly.

I would rate it as 10/10

TOPBOX January Prive box 2014

Well hello my totally underwhelming Topbox of January 2014

Its totally my fault for picking a prive box thinking this brand is super expensive and i want to try their products.

and what i got to try didn't really work for me, or i should say i didn't really enjoy them as much as i thought.

 

So first up I was confused between last months prive boxes specially because they had a "Chinese new year benefit box" i own most of those products so thought why not give SkinCeuticals a chance.

Maybe I need to give the products more time and test them but after using them for two days my skin looked darker and didn't even look smooth and maybe a retexturing serum is supposed to do that but it scared me and i stopped using all the samples.

This is what i got and their prices: ( all samples are probably 5 ml since the samples dont have anything mentioned on them)

Overall price for this box is $82.63 ( wow) since this box costs $13.44 every month.

I will rate this box as 8/10 for the price and value.
The wish list mentioned the sizes of the samples but I forgot if they were 5ml or 3ml so i stuck with 5ml; to avoid the same problem for february month i took snaps of the wishlist:

 Review: Its tastes good but doesn't do the trick.

ESTEE LAUDER: DOUBLE ENDED KAJAL PENCIL
CREAMY PENCIL, INTENSE COLOUR, CREATES A SMOULDERING LOOK. GLIDES ON VELVETY SMOOTH.
CAN BE USED ON INNER RIM AND OVER THE LIDS.
PRICE: $25 PER SHADE.

Review: Gave it to my mom in exchange of her two faced waterproof liner.

CUCCIO COLOUR: NAIL LACQUER
TRIPLE PIGMENTED COLOUR, DBP, TOLUENE AND FORMELDEYHDE FREE, HIGH SHINE.
PRICE: 14ML= $10

 Review: Used it without a top coat and it faded so fast.

Total price of the box: $59.
Over all rating : 6/10 for a good variety of products ( nail colour, lip balm, hair spray and eyeliner) but very average brands other than estee lauder but i gave that to my mom so wont be able
to review it.

TOPBOX November 2013

 When I first saw the reviews of this month's Topbox I was really scared of opening my box and incidently my box wasnt even left in my mail box, instead i had to go pick it up from the post office which made the anticipation worse.

Regardless of all the slack this box got online and i feel for the peple who only got foil samples, my box is pretty average  (and i really hope Topbox stops sending me perfume samples.........please )

Unboxing ( i couldnt even wait to get home, unboxed it in the car and discussed all the products with my dad ..... he was actually interested in the local products  :)))

i got a sample of 20g for $2.28

This is pretty useless because i wouldnt buy used clothing also its only $5 worth of card.

Over all value of this box : $23.38 ( how sad)
And i wont even use the perfume and the trend trunk card.
this Box basically breaks even with the price i paid for it and i am hoping the cleansing oil settles well with my oily skin.
Cover FX CC cream is in light shade for my wheatish complex (WTHHHHH)

LOVE LOVE LOVE October topbox regular edition.


First up it was delivered within two hours of me getting the tracking code, thank you topbox team <3

Secondly the products in this box are really worth the excitement.

1) Lets start with my favourite one B.KAMINS brightening mask:
"A hydrating and brightening mask to help fight the effects of glycation and diminish the signs of aging. Full size: $72 (120 ml)"

Price : approx 15 ml = $25 (expensive)

Love the way this mask feels on fingers and face, so soft and smooth. Then it smells great and even better is the way it feels on the skin.... it tingles like a peppermint mask.
I apply a thin layer on my neck and face, leave it on for 10 minutes and then it makes my skin feel soft and smooth. I feel my pores are minimized and acne feels dry and less red.

<3 <3 <3 this product. it will last me a long time because i prolly wont use it more than twice a week and very thin layer. surely its very expensive and i wont be buying this product even though i love it :)

2) My second favourite product is  LISE WATIER Teint age control supreme.
" Lise Watier created a new line of foundation with our exclusive concentrated labrador tea extract, a powerful antioxidant, at the heart of its active ingredients. Full size: $48 (30 ml)"

Price: 5ml= $8 (wow expensive)

This product feels so good on the skin that I would prolly buy it once i finish my Olay CC cream.
I can use it right after my serum, as a moisturiser and then just use pressed powder on my skin ( MAC, sheer coverage). It feels like full coverage foundation and gives good oil control.
The feel of the product is that of a velvety liquid foundation.

 

 



 

3) ELIZABETH ARDEN beautiful colour moisturizing lipstick:

"Beautiful colour fuses with care. Lush, luxurious colour that lasts for 12 hours* (based on a study)
Keep lips feel moisturized all day with a single swipe of long-lasting, high pigment colour that's comfortable to wear and sumptuously soft. Clinically and dermatologist tested. full size : $30 (3.5g)"

Price: net weight of the sample 0.75 g = $6.43 ( for all three samples)

The colour pay off is good it lasts for approx 5-6 hours ( by no means 12 hours) and it didnt hydrate my lips infact made them dry and chapped. Overall the colours are flattering on my skin tone but the shades arent new, nothing that revlon is not making.

Sample size is okay but the packaging is annoying, very hard to store. Compared to this Urban Decay introduced their shades the month before with a proper sample size lipstick, much appreciated.



 

 

 

 4) WELLA PROFESSIONALS Stay Brilliant Colour Protection Lotion:

Price: 150 ml= $12.99

Maybe I dont know exactly how to use this but i followed the directions on the bottle and didnt really see a difference in my hair. Oh well........

topbox 2013 september Chatelaine Box

TOPBOX September 2013 "Chatelaine"
 

 First off, this is my second topbox and this one excited me more than the first one from last month which was a Clinique special.

It came wrapped in this beautiful box (i think i will store my bangles to reuse this box)

1) Katy Perry KILLER QUEEN sample, its basically a very sweet scent which doesn't last very long but overall a very strong scent.
update: the smell just disappears on me :(

 

 

2)  Cover FX Anti Aging Primer a 5ml sample supposed to work as a serum +primer.....cant wait to use it.
update: wasn't matifying enough. my make up didn't stay oil free as my bare minerals spf primer does so.

 3) Estee Lauder extreme Lash Mascara..... honestly i am so tired of getting mascara samples ( got one in last box from topbox and ipsy and apparently this month as well ipsy as well as topbox have sent me a mascara) so i cant review how this product will work because i wont open it till i need it maybe in a few months ( read years)

update: wont open it till i am through with the old ones .

4) Kerastase Elixer Ultime: hair oil as a 3ml sample ( pretty darn tiny sample but i am not complaining because i have so many other serums to use up that this sample size works for me)
it is suppose to make hair radiant and smooth.

update: hair was soft till yesterday, feels greasy today and it never took the fly aways away LOL

5) Lise Watier Ombre Souffle Supreme- An anti ageing eye shadow, i love the texture on these and they are super shinny (love them more because the metallic shades are in fashion right now) I got the peach and green shade. the samples are extremely tiny but like i said i could care less about the size on these. these shades are like mousse and will dry out since the packaging cant be resealed once opened.

update: peach just turned silver on my skin after a while and vert also had a crazy amount of silver shine to it . it has staying power though. lasted me all day for over 10 hours.

Finally this came with a Chatelaine double issue (special edition) magazine which i think i will enjoy browsing through. comes with great recipes  and a special offer which as a topbox subscriber allows me to buy 12 subscriptions for $15. Bonus offer is an extra FREE Topbox in October (while quantities last) and a rose gold tinted wrist watch.

update: read the magazine, its full of extremely sad stories and some good fashion advice. i don't cook so don't really care about cooking recipes. decided not to subscribe.

Over all this box was worth its cost. I don't hate the box borderline love it only because the samples are small and wont take up too much room . hopefully last me a month till the new box arrives.

Topbox delivers good name brands to my door step and i am loving them :))
